I am seeking new employment in any of the
following positions: Photographer, Photo Supervisor, Writer, Powerpoint Artist and/or
Digital Imaging Technician. Enclosed is an updated copy of my Résumé. Significant
achievements of my career follow:
 | Over twenty-five years of Photographic experience both as
Photographer and as Photo Management. Photographic experience includes public relations,
benchmark, construction, industrial, commercial, portrait and aerial photography. My
photographs have been published in books, magazines, trade journals and newspapers.
Dynamic exhibitions include fine arts as well as my industrial and commercial works.
Experience in Photographic Labs includes work in and supervision of various worldwide
corporate and government and industrial labs. |
| As a writer I have published articles in various
publications. Among my credits are the 1997 Bangkok City Guide; articles on studio and lab
management; various photographic subjects, a series of entertainment reviews for the
"Official" Bahrain Pocket Guide (Manama, Bahrain) and articles on exploration
and travel for The Geographic Society of Saudi Arabia. I authored Articles and supplied
photos for the corporate publications of the Kodak distributor in Saudi Arabia. I've
contributed photos and written material for articles on Vietnamese boat people for US
magazines. |
| In Saudi Arabia - six years as Supervisor of Photography and
Photolab Supervisor working for Saudi Arabian Parsons of Pasadena, California and the
Royal Commission. |
| Two and a half years management experience for Kodak in
Saudi Arabia where I planned, opened and supervised both an Industrial/Commercial Photo
Studio in Jeddah and the largest Digital Imaging Center, in Al Khobar. Where I was an
instinctive problem solver and a proven manager performing planning, staffing, equipment
purchase, scheduling and developing new techniques. |
| Chief Photographer and Photolab Supervisor for Sperry (now
Unisys) for fifteen years. I supervised a staff of photographers and lab technicians in
the in-house photo studio and photo lab. My staff provided technical and documentary
services in still photography for six corporate divisions and operating units nationwide. |
| Corporate, business and military experiences have prepared
me for dealing with tight schedules and working with people of diverse backgrounds. On
Diego Garcia I have maintained good rapport with the Military, fellow Expats and the TCN
community. I work well as a team member or on my own and have years of experience of
working supportively with creative and technical people of all disciplines and
backgrounds. |
| Experienced in digital photography techniques with hands on
experience using a variety of digital cameras. Also experienced in programs such as Adobe
Photoshop, Powerpoint, Pagemaker and Corel Draw. Skilled in slide production, both digital
and standard. |
| My education and my technical and artistic background gives
me balance and diversity for a wide variety of assignments. Over twenty-five years of
experience in industrial photography studios and labs, ten years overseas, makes me an
excellent candidate for any of the positions listed above. |
| I have a history of providing good photography, service and
management which is backed by a lifetime of references and commendations that can be
supplied on request. I am available for work in either the US or International locations. |
